Forza Horizon 2 is an open-world racing video game developed for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. It is the sequel to 2012's Forza Horizon and
part of the Forza Motorsport series. I was part of a massive team, developed the game for forza from dhruva interactive. as an art lead my responsibilities was to build the environments for couple of race tracks based on the forza specification. the game developed in forza's proprietary game engine.
overall barrier placements on all the tracks using inbuilt scripts that co-ordinated forza's game engine. initially we developed modular barrier assets and used them on the tracks based on the real-life video footage references.
created terrains based on photogrammetry 3d scans. got the 3d scans from forza, we had to sample the photogrammetry scans and create modular 3d terrain pieces to place them around the environments with variations. I had to set the pipeline for creating modular terrain peices from 3d scans and co -ordinate the team members and producers to meet the deliveries.
